A growing women’s denim contemporary brand is seeking a commercially minded, relationship-driven Senior Account Executive to own and grow its West Coast specialty business. This is an opportunity to take over an established territory and opening new business.

The right person has a strong point of view, real relationships in the contemporary market, and the energy to get out from behind the desk. They enjoy being in front of customers, understand the rhythm of seasonal selling and ATS, and know how to turn account insights into action.

This is a HYBRID Role in office 3 days as week 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Grow the West Coast specialty wholesale territory.

  • Manage an established account base while identifying, opening, and developing new specialty retail partners.

  • Build trusted relationships with buyers and store teams through seasonal market appointments, showroom meetings, road appointments, and regular account outreach.

  • Create and execute seasonal sales plans that support revenue, distribution, and brand goals.

  • Manage key specialty and e-commerce accounts, including assortment strategy, order follow-up, chase opportunities, and seasonal selling.

  • Analyze sell-through, inventory, ATS availability, reorder business, and account performance to identify opportunities and make informed recommendations.

  • Partner closely with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, and Customer Service to support forecasting, inventory management, order execution, and account needs.

  • Share market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to help inform product, assortment, and sales strategy.

  • Maintain strong organization around account communication, sales reporting, seasonal deadlines, and follow-through.

  • Represent the brand at relevant markets, trade shows, and customer appointments.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 5–7 years of wholesale sales experience, ideally within women’s contemporary apparel, denim, or a closely related category.

  • Established understanding of the better West Coast specialty stores and key-account management.

  • Strong buyer relationships and a demonstrated ability to build new business.

  • Experience managing seasonal selling, open-to-buy conversations, ATS, reorder business, and account performance.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to interpret sell-through, inventory, and sales results.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Collaborative, solution-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally.

  • Willingness to travel for market appointments, customer visits, and business needs.
