Production Manager - Denim

Our client, a private-label denim brand, is hiring an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead their Walmart account. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented professional to oversee all aspects of production and ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. As the Production Manager, you will maintain the product excellence and consistency Walmart expects while working closely with suppliers and internal teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage Walmart's entire denim production cycle, from initial development through to final delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are met.

• Establish strong partnerships with denim mills, factories, and suppliers, aligning with Walmart’s quality and compliance standards.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control measures, perform audits, and resolve production issues quickly to meet Walmart’s standards.

• Cost & Inventory Optimization: Analyze and manage production budgets, inventory, and logistics to streamline costs without compromising quality.

• Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure all practices comply with Walmart's strict standards, including ethical sourcing, sustainability, and quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: 5+ years in apparel production, focusing strongly on denim; prior experience working on Walmart accounts is A MUST.

• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in PLM systems, Excel, and other relevant production software.

• Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for managing supplier relationships and internal collaboration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Retail Link
