Associate Designer

LOS ANGELES, CA

An established Los Angeles–based apparel company recognized for delivering high-quality, trend-conscious collections across multiple categories is looking for a motivated Associate Designer. This person must have 2–3 years of industry experience to join their creative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong technical design skills, and is eager to contribute to building fashion-forward, market-ready collections. IN OFFICE 5 DAYS A WEEK.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Partner with senior designers to bring seasonal concepts to life from sketch through production.

• Create CADs, apparel sketches, and detailed design tech packs for multiple categories.

• Build initial design PDFs and support with garment development tasks.

• Collaborate daily with international vendors, tracking updates and communicating changes clearly.

• Stay organized while managing multiple priorities and tight timelines.

REQUIREMENTS 

• 2–3 years of apparel design experience in a professional setting.

• Strong command of Adobe Illustrator with refined sketching ability.

• Working knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and the design process.

• Familiarity with CLO or other 3D design software a plus.

• Experience with PLM or BBR systems preferred.

• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
