Senior Designer – Men’s Bags & Leather Goods

Join a growing accessories team focused on redefining the modern men’s bag category. This role will lead the design and development of high-quality men’s handbags and travel styles, blending function, innovation, and elevated design. You’ll play a key part in shaping a commercially successful assortment across everyday carry, work, and travel products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own design direction for men’s handbags including backpacks, totes, cross bodies, briefcases, and travel bags
Create seasonal concepts, color palettes, materials, and product stories aligned with market trends
Develop detailed sketches, tech packs, and product specifications for production
Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and sourcing teams
Research trends, competitors, and consumer behavior in men’s accessories and travel gear
Select materials, hardware, and construction methods that balance design and cost
Review prototypes and samples, ensuring quality, function, and aesthetic consistency
Manage multiple design projects across seasonal calendars
Elevate design standards and processes within the men’s category
REQUIREMENTS
6+ years of experience in handbag, accessories, or leather goods design
Strong expertise in handbag construction, materials, and product development
Experience creating tech packs and working with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design tools
Strong understanding of men’s accessories or ability to design for the male consumer
Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field preferred
