Sales Executive – Private Label & Branded Apparel

Los Angeles based private label apparel company is now hiring a Wholesale Sales Executive.  This person must know how to turn relationships into results and drive business across private label programs and their branded collections, working directly with retailers to bring product ideas to life.

This role will collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure every line we present reflects both the buyer’s vision and the company’s standards of quality and speed.  

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and grow partnerships with department stores, specialty chains, and other key retailers.

  • Pitch fresh concepts and product lines that align with seasonal trends and retailer needs.

  • Lead buyer presentations and line showings, translating creative ideas into commercial opportunities.

  • Work with internal teams to manage timelines, costing, and delivery schedules from start to finish.

  • Negotiate pricing, margins, and order terms that support both business goals and customer satisfaction.

  • Track sales performance and identify new growth opportunities based on data and market trends.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 10+ years of experience in apparel sales, ideally within private label or wholesale.

  • Established relationships with national and specialty retailers.

  • A strong understanding of the apparel development process — from concept through production.

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple timelines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PLM or ERP systems is a plus.
