Bi-coastal Female Founded and Run PR agency working across fashion, beauty and lifestyle is seeking a full-time Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join their editorial team in New York. This role is ideal for someone excited to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment focused on results and media excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with client goals

  • Secure consistent media coverage across top-tier print, digital, podcast, and broadcast outlets

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and tastemakers

  • Draft press materials including pitches, press releases, bios, and media alerts

  • Lead day-to-day communication with clients, ensuring timely updates and deliverables

  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate influencer, event, and editorial initiatives

  • Monitor press coverage and compile reports for clients

  • Contribute to brainstorms, media lists, and campaign strategies

  • Assist in managing junior team members and delegating tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of public relations experience, ideally within an agency environment

  • Strong network of media contacts in fashion, beauty, wellness, and/or lifestyle

  • Proven ability to secure press placements and manage multiple accounts simultaneously

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Positive, proactive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experience with Muckrack, influencer tracking tools, or event execution is a plus

  • Must be based in New York and available to work on a hybrid in-office schedule
