Account Receivable Coordinator

A growing financial services organization is looking for a proactive Account Receivable Coordinator to help manage accounts receivable activity and support strong client and customer relationships. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-driven, and confident handling invoice follow-up, payment issues, and account documentation.

This position plays an important part in maintaining healthy cash flow, monitoring open receivables, and helping identify potential collection risks early. The right person will be comfortable working independently, staying on top of deadlines, and communicating professionally with both internal teams and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage accounts receivable collection activity for assigned accounts

  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and work to secure timely payment

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their customers

  • Monitor account activity to identify payment delays, cash flow concerns, or collection trends

  • Escalate risk issues or potential payment challenges to leadership when appropriate

  • Accurately document disputes, deductions, and account adjustments in internal systems

  • Keep collection notes, account records, and follow-up activity organized and up to date

  • Complete weekly assignments and collection priorities with limited oversight

  • Develop a strong understanding of factoring, including receivable eligibility, disputes, and adjustments

  • Partner with internal teams to resolve account issues efficiently and accurately

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable collections

  • Background in financial services, commercial finance, or factoring preferred

  • Strong understanding of invoice follow-up, payment tracking, and account reconciliation

  • Ability to recognize and respond to collection risks or debtor payment concerns

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgment

  • Able to work independently while also collaborating with a team
