Associate Director, E-Commerce

We're looking for a digitally native e-commerce leader to own and scale the online experience for our contemporary fashion brand. From seasonal collections and capsule drops to everyday essentials, you'll shape how our community discovers, shops, and stays connected to the brand across Shopify Plus, organic search, and our growing omni- channel retail footprint. This is a high-impact role for someone who blends sharp commercial instincts with an editorial eye and a love of modern fashion. This role is IN OFFICE.
RESPONSIBILITES
Own and optimize the Shopify Plus ecosystem powering our contemporary fashion ecommerce site, including app integrations, site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile-first UX, and editorial-quality storytelling on PDPs and collection pages.
Drive growth across the metrics that matter most for a DTC fashion brand: conversion rate (CVR), average order value (AOV), repeat purchase rate, customer retention, and lifetime value (CLV/LTV).
Lead the conversion rate optimization (CRO) roadmap with structured A/B and multivariate testing across homepage, PLPs, PDPs, cart, and checkout to continuously elevate the shopping experience.
Oversee site merchandising, category navigation, on-site search and filtering, look-led storytelling, and the seasonal content calendar — ensuring every drop, capsule, and campaign lands beautifully online.
Develop and execute SEO, technical SEO, and AI-driven search visibility (SES/GEO/AEO) strategies that grow organic share of voice across Google, generative search, Pinterest, and visual discovery platforms relevant to contemporary fashion shoppers.
Manage customer experience (CX) operations end-to-end, including helpdesk platforms, chat, and automation — keeping our brand voice consistent and our community taken care of.
Build and scale lifecycle marketing programs across email and SMS, with smart segmentation, behavioral triggers, and personalization that feel like a stylist in your inbox — not spam.
Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, buying, planning, brand, and creative to align ecommerce execution with seasonal launches, drops, collaborations, and editorial moments.
Deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights to senior leadership, translating data into a sharp commercial roadmap.
Manage external development partners, agencies, and freelancers — setting technical priorities, timelines, and craft standards.
Improve operational efficiency across fulfillment, returns, exchanges, inventory sync, and system integrations between Shopify, ERP, OMS, WMS, and retail POS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
6+ years of ecommerce or digital commerce leadership experience, ideally within a contemporary fashion, apparel, accessories, or lifestyle brand.
Deep Shopify and Shopify Plus expertise, including theme architecture, Liquid, headless considerations, app stack management, and POS-to-online unification.
Proven track record in CRO, experimentation, and full-funnel optimization with measurable lifts in CVR and AOV.
Strong analytical and reporting skills across GA4, Shopify analytics, Looker/Tableau, and attribution tooling.
Hands-on experience with CRM, email, and SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive, Yotpo) and modern CX systems (e.g., Gorgias, Zendesk).
Ability to manage multiple priorities, agency partners, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and emerging AI-driven search trends, including LLM/GEO optimization and visual search.
Background in omnichannel retail bridging DTC ecommerce and physical/flagship stores.
Familiarity with automation, personalization, and AI tools across merchandising, content, and customer service workflows.
