Specialty Wholesale Sales Manager

A rapidly growing contemporary fashion brand is seeking an experienced Specialty Wholesale Sales Manager to drive strategic growth across independent retailers and specialty accounts. This role is ideal for a sales leader with strong apparel industry relationships, a deep understanding of wholesale strategy, and a passion for trend-driven fashion and denim.

You’ll play a key role in expanding market presence, leading seasonal selling initiatives, and partnering cross-functionally to build assortments that align with retailer demand and business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead specialty wholesale sales across independent showrooms and regional territories

  • Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals

  • Analyze sales performance, inventory trends, and sell-through data to uncover growth opportunities

  • Partner with merchandising and product teams to create market-relevant assortments

  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams to manage order flow and delivery timelines

  • Expand distribution by identifying and securing new specialty retail partnerships

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and business insights to leadership

  • Maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and showroom teams

  • Present seasonal collections to buyers and support account growth initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of wholesale apparel sales experience, preferably within contemporary fashion or denim

  • Strong background working with specialty retail accounts and independent boutiques

  • Proven success achieving or exceeding sales goals in a wholesale environment

  • Established relationships within the fashion and specialty retail industry preferred

  • Experience presenting seasonal collections and managing account assortments

  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with the ability to interpret sales trends

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
