Associate Designer - Knits

We are seeking a talented and organized Associate Designer to join our team full-time at a well-known fashion brand. This role focuses on knits and soft wovens while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, contemporary products. IN office Monday-Friday - Local LA candidates Only

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead design and development for knitwear and assist with other categories, such as swimwear and Resortwear.

• Collaborate with Technical Design and Production teams to ensure quality and fit.

• Bring new ideas to design meetings and create sketches and tech packs.

• Review lab dips, prints, and materials for seasonal launches.

• Prepare instructional documents and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) process in PLM.

REQUIREMENTS 

• 3-6 years of experience in knits and soft wovens, particularly in contemporary fashion.

• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel; PLM knowledge is a plus.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, yarns, fabrics, and tech pack creation.

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

• Creative and detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
