Wholesale Sales & Account Associate

Our client is a wholesale accessories company and they are now hiring a Sales & Account Management Associate to support a portfolio of major retail accounts across licensed brands, handbags, travel goods, backpacks, and fashion accessories.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and keeping multiple projects moving at once. You'll work closely with customers while partnering across merchandising, product development, production, operations, customer service, and logistics to ensure every order is executed successfully. It's an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of wholesale account management, from sales reporting and inventory planning to customer strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

IN OFFICE

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support the day-to-day management of wholesale retail accounts while building strong customer relationships.

  • Coordinate purchase orders, order updates, shipment tracking, and delivery timelines to ensure accurate and timely execution.

  • Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, sell-through reports, and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Prepare sales reports, business recaps, retail analysis, and customer presentations.

  • Assist with seasonal assortments, line presentations, and product launches.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage inventory, replenishment opportunities, pricing updates, and customer requests.

  • Coordinate samples, marketing materials, and product information for customer meetings.

  • Support retailer meetings, market appointments, and seasonal line reviews while ensuring retailer requirements and deadlines are met.

REQUIREMENT

  • 3+ years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, merchandising, or sales support.

  • Background in fashion accessories, handbags, travel goods, licensed brands, or consumer products preferred.

  • Experience supporting major retail accounts, including department stores, specialty retailers, off-price, or e-commerce partners.

  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting.

  • Experience with ERP systems, EDI, retailer portals, or CRM platforms is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
