PD Coordinator

We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator for women's accessories in Los Angeles.

This hands-on opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing handbag collections from concept to market. You'll collaborate with design and production teams, work directly with overseas manufacturers, and help ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Coordinate women's handbag development from initial concepts through production.

• Partner with overseas factories on sampling, materials, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Evaluate product samples for construction, quality, and design accuracy.

• Manage development timelines, identify potential delays, and keep projects moving.

• Maintain accurate product details, line sheets, and sample records.

• Support buyer presentations, product photography, and sample approvals.

• Monitor retail trends and competitor products to support collection development.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of product development experience in fashion or accessories, with knowledge of materials, construction, and costing.

• Experience working directly with overseas factories on sampling, manufacturing, and production timelines.

• Must be based in Los Angeles, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Women's handbags, leather goods, or fashion accessories experience.

• Strong Excel skills and product tracking experience.

• Familiarity with vendor negotiations, quality control, and margin management.
