Associate Atelier Manager

 A prestigious, New York-based fashion house specializing in custom-made bridal and women’s couture seeks an Associate Atelier Operations Manager. Renowned for their craftsmanship, premium textiles, and a commitment to local garment production they are searching for a detail-driven, collaborative Atelier Operations Manager to oversee daily functions within the studio. This leader will coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure materials and patterns are managed, maintain supply chains, and enforce studio procedures. The ideal candidate brings hands-on knowledge of garment construction and textiles, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about fostering high standards in luxury fashion.

THIS ROLE IS IN OFFICE MONDAY - FRIDAY 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee inventory of fabrics, trims, packaging, and supplies; manage restocking and organization

• Collaborate with textile teams to receive and reorder materials

• Advise design and production teams on material availability and cost factors

• Lead quality assurance efforts and product testing

• Maintain studio correspondence and troubleshoot day-to-day issues

• Enforce and document atelier procedures

• Archive and organize patterns

• Nurture relationships with vendors and supply chain partners

REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

• Minimum 2 years in a high-end atelier or luxury design environment

• Advanced technical expertise in textiles, sewing tools, and garment construction

• Strong communicator with exceptional organization and attention to detail

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Adobe Suite and MAC experience a plus

• Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented
